My front-line role

I represent the interests of around 15,000 residents of the communities of Old Stevenage, Symonds Green and Woodfield. I am also a Stevenage Borough Councillor (elected in 2008) so I work closely with the County, Borough and Town councils.
As is the case with every County Councillor, I have a locality budget of £10,000 a year to spend on community projects in the division. Follow the links for more details of the scheme and details of application have previously agreed and declined.
My County Council responsibilities
Since becoming a County Councillor in 2009 I have sat on various cabinet panels, committees and topic groups. I currently sit on the Environment, Economy & Community Safety and Highways & Transport Cabinet Panels.

I am a member of Stevenage Farmers’ Market.
Personal, professional and political details
I studied Politics, economics and philosophy at the University of Hertfordshire. I am a property landlord and investor. I am a lifelong Conservative.
