As is the case with every County Councillor, I have a locality budget of £10,000 a year to spend on community projects in the division. Follow the links for more details of the scheme and details of applications I have previously agreed and declined.
My County Council responsibilities
I am a member of the Three Rivers Local Panel where District and County Councillors meet with County Officers to discuss matters such as youth activities, education, health, crime prevention. I am also a member of the Joint Highways Panel which deals among other things with street repair and maintenance, winter provision and speeding measures.
Personal, professional and political details
My degree is in History (Honours, London, 2.1) where I studied British (particularly English) History – Early, Early Modern and Modern - and European history – Early Modern and Modern.
I worked as a legal secretary until retirement, when that employment was replaced by my election as County Councillor.
Politically I am a Nationalist. I was elected to represent the British National Party, but crossed over to the English Democrats in early 2011.
