My front-line role
I am the Conservative County Councillor for Watling Division. The ‘Your Community’ section provides local service information, news, events, and contacts about the area.
As is the case with all County Councillors, I have a locality budget of £10,000 per annum to spend on community projects in the division. Follow the links for more details about this scheme and details of the applications I have previously agreed and declined.
My County Council Responsibilities
I have served as a County Councillor on Hertfordshire County Council for 3 years and prior to that, I was a Borough Councillor for Totteridge Ward in the London Borough of Barnet. I am also elected as a Parish Councillor at Aldenham Parish Council.
I currently sit on the Environment, Economy and Community Safety Cabinet Panel, the Herts Local and Libraries Cabinet Panel, the Overview and Scrutiny Committee, SACRE (Standing Advisory Committee for Religious Education) and I am the Vice Chairman of the Hertsmere Highways Joint Member’s Panel. I was also previously a member of the Waste Management Cabinet Panel.

I am a School Governor at Aldenham School (Independent Senior School) and at Hertsmere JPS (Junior Faith School).
Personal, professional and political details
I joined the Conservative Party in 1988 and have been involved ever since. I am married to my husband Michael and we have 2 young children. My previous profession was in the Media and Advertising Industry.
