Civil Partnerships

Congratulations on your forthcoming Civil Partnership ceremony from Hertfordshire Registration Service.

Whether you wish to hold your ceremony in one of our eight registration offices or one of our approved premises in Hertfordshire, we can offer a venue to suit your requirements.

Our Celebrations brochure below and the links shown to the left of this page provide further information on our registration offices and approved premises. You will also find advice on what you need to do to make a booking and complete the legal requirements prior to your ceremony.

If our selection of venues does not include your desired location within Hertfordshire, it may be possible to have a small legal ceremony followed by a celebratory ceremony at your location of choice. Please see our link to Renewal of Vows for further information.

Due to recent changes in legislation it is also possible to register Civil Partnerships in religious buildings, providing they have been licensed for such purposes by the local authority.

Once the legal preliminaries have been completed you will be sent one of our ceremony brochures which include choices of words and information regarding the planning of your special day.

Let Hertfordshire Celebrations and our Registration Services staff help you create your perfect day.

The Hertfordshire Celebrations Brochure below contains useful information about civil partnerships.
