What to do if you smell gas.

• DON'T turn electric switches on or off (including doorbells)
• DON'T use naked flames
• DON'T smoke

• DO turn off the gas supply at the meter
• DO open doors and windows to get rid of the gas
• DO make sure that the gas supply to an appliance has not been left unlit
