Stevenage Swimming Centre is at the cutting edge of swimming pool provision after a £2.5m refurbishment. A deck level, stream lined, 33m main pool allows easy access for all. In addition a custom made movable boom has been introduced in order to allow maximum flexibility for our diverse pool programme. This also enables conversion to a 25m pool for hosting of regional competitions. A 12.8m teaching pool is also available.

Additional improvements made to the pool area include Underwater Lighting, Gallery seating and a Family Changing Village. A wide variety of courses and sessions are available to all and these include:
  • Leisure 50
  • Ladies Only
  • Toddler Splash
  • AquaEd Swim School Programme for all ages
  • Fun Sessions and Children’s Holiday Activities
The Stevenage Swimming Centre has been enhanced through the introduction of the Wellness Centre. The Wellness Centre provides a Kinesis Studio and many holistic type exercise programmes. The latest addition to the Wellness centre is the superb newly opened Methesis Spa.
