Boccia is a paralympic sport similar to French Boules/Petanque and is played from a seated postion. It can be played in team matches consisting of 3 players per team or as pairs or singles.

The aim of the game is to throw / kick / roll leather balls as close to the white jack ball as possible. The balls can be propelled by hands, feet, or, if the competitors disability is severe, with an assistive device (ramp).

It is a game for everyone and is open to juniors and adults both with or without a disability.
