Humanist Funeral Ceremonies

We are a local group of accredited British Humanist Association Ceremony Celebrants. We offer a dignified and individual alternative to the religious ceremonies usually associated with funerals. We work closely and sympathetically with the families concerned, advise on appropriate content, readings and music and will coordinate arrangements as needed with relevant the funeral directors.

Celebrants will meet the deceased's family (and, when possible, contact friends, neighbours and/or colleagues) and will compose and conduct a unique and appropriate tribute at the burial or cremation to truly celebrate the life of the deceased.
