The Museum also offers an exciting programme of events and holiday activities, including reminiscence workshops, lunchtime lectures and under-fives activities.

Special exhibitions for 2011 include:
  • Play! The story of play in the new town using fantastic photographs, original film footage and first-hand memories

  • Monday - Saturday 10.00am-5.00pm
  • Sundays & Bank Holidays closed
Costs (as at 22/02/2011:
Entrance to exhibition is free of charge. Special events - individual charges.

Disabled access / facilities:
Wheelchair access, loop system in events room, displays on one level, and adapted toilet.

Facilities:
Shop, small coffee area, toilets, baby changing unit.

Directions:
The museum is situated underneath St Andrew and St George's Church on St George's Way. From the town centre follow Market Place to the end, then use the underpass to reach the museum. There are 2 carparks on the opposite side of St George's Way.
