Careers Advice

There are several places where you can get careers advice.

If you are still at school you will be able to get advice as part of the curriculum and via specific members of staff. You may also have a Connexions resource area with books, leaflets and computer programmes.

If you are at college there will be a careers area where you can find information and ask questions.

Your local public library will have a careers section too.

Hertfordshire Connexions has centres throughout the county. You can find help on producing a CV, completing application forms, writing letters and improving your interview skills. Use the link on the right to find out more.

If you are between 16 and 19 and are looking for work you can visit one of the many Connexions Centres in Hertfordshire. A personal adviser will be able to answer your questions and help plan your future.

You can also find advice on jobs and careers on line. There are a number of on-line recruitment agencies that offer advice and newsletters on careers and working in general.
