Healthy Eating
Eating is an important part of everyday life. Meals can bring people together (around the dining table or in a restaurant) and can be very enjoyable to eat. There are some guidelines we must follow though, in order to stay healthy.
Health authorities recommend that you eat at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables per day. It doesn't really matter if they are tinned, cooked, frozen or fresh. By eating this amount of good food each day the risk of getting illnesses such as heart disease and cancer is reduced.
On top of eating these portions there are other foods you need and some you should not eat too often…
