Help from Connexions

Youth Connexions is a service for teenagers which aims to provide advice, guidance, support and personal development opportunities for all 13-19 year olds (up to 25 years for young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities).

In Hertfordshire, a whole range of different youth agencies are working together to help Youth Connexions deliver the best possible support service to local young people. Within these agencies there are staff called Personal Advisers -professional staff who are trained to help young people to make the most out of their lives, whatever their issues. There are also a number of One Stop Shops across the county where young people can pop in to ask for advice or information. Currently One Stop Shops are based in Hatfield, Hemel Hempstead, Stevenage, (pictured above) Watford and Borehamwood.
