Children's events in North Herts

To add details of your event to our diary use the link on the right hand side of the page called Add a new event to this notice board this will open an EVENT template, please follow all the instructions.

When you have completed the template you will be issued with a reference number, which you will need to keep a note of, this is your key and can be used to remove or amend the entry later. Once you have submitted your event it should appear in the list during the course of the next working day.

Shift: North - Herts Junior Dance Company Auditions 2008

Venue: The Knights Templar Sports Centre, Weston Way, Baldock, Herts SG7 6EY.

Date: Tuesday 14th October 2008.

Time: 4.15pm

Dance in Herts is thrilled to announce auditions for its junior dance company HJDC Shift:North. The company meets to create and rehearse new dance works alongside professional dance artists. The company will perform at events across the county during 2009.

Shift:North
Open to young people who live or attend school in the districts of North Herts and Stevenage. The company mmet regularly on Tuesday evenings from 4.15pm to 5.15pm at The Knights Templar Sports Centre. If you are aged between 8 and 11 years old (years4, 5, & 6) and love dancing come along and audition for the company.

Previous formal dance training is not essential. Please do not prepare a dance routine for the audition. An application form will need to be completed before your child can audition. Please contact Dance in Herts for further details.

Sunday with the Family

Venue: British Schools Museum, Queen Street, Hitchin SG4 9TS.

Date: Sunday 26 October

Time: 2.00pm to 5.00pm.

Sunday With The Family: on the last Sunday of each month there will be events specifically for families to enjoy together.

This Sunday: Julie Skinner will help you create simple, stunning decorations which even the youngest and oldest fingers can do.

The Games and Toys of Victorian Times: Holiday activities for children from 5 years old.

Cost: £3 per session which includes materials and light refreshments.
