Children's events in Broxbourne

To add details of your event to our diary use the link on the right hand side of the page called Add a new event to this notice board this will open an EVENT template, please follow all the instructions.

When you have completed the template you will be issued with a reference number, which you will need to keep a note of, this is your key and can be used to remove or amend the entry later.

Sunday 3rd August - Daemon or Doppelganger?

Join this clay workshop and make fabulous clay figures. Admission is free and there are two workshops to choose from, one at 11.00am to 1.30pm and 2. 00pm to 4.30pm.

Sunday 17th August - Chinese Dragons

Get created and make a fabulous chinese dragon, when finished he will be paraded around the park. From 12noon to 4.00pm. Cost £1.00 per person.

Sunday 31st August - Noisy Oyster Presents 'The Story of Princess Gimmee'

Princess Gimmee wants everything; the king is at his wits end and doesn't know what to do with her, until he realises there is one thing the princess does not have ...come along and find out what!!! First performance at 2.00pm, second performance at 3.00pm. Admission is Free.

Look out for Water Voles

Venue: Silvermeade, Broxbourne Old Mill and Meadows Car Park, Off Mill Lane, Broxbourne.

Date: Sunday 7th September

Time: 10.00am to 4.00pm

Look out for water voles in the Lee Valley Regional Park. Guided by Herts and Middlesex Trust and Lee Valley Park staff, find out how we're improving habitat and helping to increase water vole populations throughout Hertfordshire.

There will be a range of free children's activities including pond dipping, wetland bingo and craft. Staff will also be leading guided walks onto Silvermeade wetland to look for water vole signs.

All activities are free of charge.
