Sustainable Travel to Schools and Colleges

Welcome to the sustainable travel section of Herts Direct for schools and colleges.

This website will see some exciting changes over the coming months which will provide you with all the sustainable school and college travel information that you need.

We have a range of programmes to help families safely access the schools and colleges of their choice by travel modes which will improve the well-being of those who use them and the quality of the local and wider environment.  Walking, cycling, using passenger transport or car-sharing can all help to achieve these aims.
