KIDS East and West HUBs

What do we do?

The KIDS East and West HUB services offer information and support for parents and carers of disabled children/children with additional needs aged 0-19 in Hertfordshire.

How can we help you?

We can offer free and impartial support via phone, email or face-to-face (incuding home visits) with matters such as: Our services include:

  • Helping you find activities groups and training
  • Information about benefits and parking
  • Support at meetings about your child
  • Support with relevant forms and letters
  • Signposting to local and national services
  • Keeping you in formed with regular newsletters and updates

What else goes on in the HUBs?

  • Toy library with toys and equipment for disabled children and children with additional needs
  • Stay and Play sessions from 10:00 to 11:30 every Thursday at KIDS East HUB
  • Resource library - reference books and books for children and siblings
  • Accessible and friendly spaces for parent and/or professional groups to meet (booking required)
  • As-Pi evenings - social opportunity for children, young people and parents to meets once per month in term time, contact EAST HUB for more info

KIDS is a national charity providing a wide range of services for disabled children, young people and their families across seven English regions. KIDS' vision is a world in which all disabled children and young people realise their aspirations and their right to an inclusive community which supports them and their families.
