The government has set out a challenging agenda for schools and Local Authorities in raising standards and improving schools. Governing bodies have a vital role to play.

To ensure governing bodies have the knowledge, understanding and skills to fulfil their roles and responsibilities in school improvement and raising learners' achievement.

HASG Governor Awards 2014
Outstanding School Governor Awards, sponsored by the Hertfordshire Association of School Governors, and organised in association with Herts for Learning, aims to celebrate outstanding and distinguished service by individual school governors in Hertfordshire. The winners of the first awards will be announced at the Hertfordshire Governors’ Annual Conference in November 2014.
