Hertfordshire has a strong history of recruiting Newly Qualified Teachers and in September 2007 we welcomed over 800 NQTs into our schools.
NQTs wishing to work in Hertfordshire should visit the teachinherts website where teaching posts are advertised (www.teachinherts.com). We do not operate a pool system in Hertfordshire (applicants apply directly to schools). Our advanced online recruitment website allows you to register your details, receive weekly job alerts from schools and apply online. Schools are also able to search through the website and contact you if they have a post that may be of interest to you.
