Courses and Events run by the School Workforce Development Team

We regularly hold events, courses and opendays for people who are interested in working in schools.

This includes information about becoming a teacher, teaching assistant or finding out more about the many and varied roles for support staff in schools.

During the last school year we held three Support Staff Open Days in Watford, Stevenage and a joint event with Essex County Council in Harlow. The aim was to find out more about working in schools and were a great success with a full programme of talks about the variety of roles in schools and stands to visit.
