Conferences and seminars are held regularly to ensure that governors can keep on top of change and share good practice.
The Hertfordshire Governors' Annual Conference has attracted well over 400 governors in recent years. Main speakers have included such high profile personalities as Gervase Phinn, the late Professor Ted Wragg, Heather Du Quesnay CBE, initial Director, National College for School Leadership and Mike Tomlinson, former HM Chief Inspector of Schools.
Half-day conferences on a variety of topics take place at various other times and are publicised separately.
