This system allows clerks to update the details of the membership of the governing body. Clerks are encouraged to access and check details at least once a term.
To access the system you will need to enter your ID and PIN number. If you have forgotten them please contact the Governance helpline
01438 843082.
Please note the following points:- On the log-in screen the ‘Governing body No.’ is the school’s HCC number.
- If you need to add details of someone who already is or has been a governor but you do not know his/her ID number please contact Governance (hdc.governors@hertscc.gov.uk) to find out the number. TAKE NO FURTHER ACTION until you have the number.
- If an LEA governor resigns before his/her term of office finishes be sure to inform Governance so that we are made aware of the vacancy.
- It is not possible for clerks to add a new LEA governor' details. (Governing bodies do not have the power to appoint an LEA governor, although they are welcome to nominate someone to fill a vacancy.)
- If you add a governor whose term of office begins in the future s/he will not appear in the list of governors until the start date. You can, however, check that you have entered the correct details by using the ‘SEARCH’ facility.
- The clerk’s PIN and ID number cannot be transferred to a new clerk. If you have recently been appointed you must register with Governance (01438 843082) and we will then issue your ID and PIN.
- Clerks’ details do not appear in the list so please do not add them.
