School uniform and clothing grants

Please note that as of 1 April 2008 the discretionary scheme of necessitous clothing (help towards the cost of school uniform for families on low incomes) has been withdrawn, following a Members' decision.

It is possible that individual schools may have alternative options for uniform grants, schemes etc, and it may be worth contacting the school to see if they offer this option. A link to the schools address book can be found on the right of this page.
