What is Your Future in Your Hands (‘Futures’ for short) all about?
It’s a pilot project for six Hertfordshire schools which aims to improve the chances of their Year 11 students to gain a A-C grade in English and Maths in 2009.
Students have been invited to join the project by their schools.

The portal is designed to give students, carers, parents and teachers information, support and guidance with English and Maths.

This page provides a direct link to your school’s website and gives information about the exam revision provision your school is offering you whilst you are in Year 11.

Resources page
It contains downloadable activities and exercises to help you and your young person prepare for the exams.

Professional Development page for teachers, mentors and school staff
This describes the courses and resources available to the people who will be supporting you and your young person.

Mentoring information page
The core purpose of ‘Futures’ is to offer young people mentoring. Find out more about it here.
