Earliest School Leaving Date

The earliest date for which a pupil can leave school.

A pupil may leave school on the FINAL Friday in June of the Academic Year of their 16th birthday.

For pupils who will become 16 between 1st September 2006 and 31st August 2007 the earliest school leaving date will be Friday 29th June 2007.

For pupils who will become 16 between 1st September 2007 and 31st August 2008 the earliest school leaving date will be Friday 27th June 2008.
