School Admissions Appeal Panels

If you have not been offered the school place you want for your child, you might want to appeal in addition to asking for your child to be put on the Continuing Interest List (CI).

This booklet explains how you can make that appeal and how the appeal process works. Your appeal will be arranged by the Appeals Team within Customer Focus,who work independently of the admissions teams that are responsible for the allocation of school places.

Continuing Interest List (CI)

The CI list operates quite separately to the appeals process. If you also wish your child to be considered for any places that become available at your preferred school(s) you must complete an application for CI in addition to the appeal form. (Please refer to the “What Can I Do Now?” leaflet.)
