Accept your offer of a Junior or Middle school place

You must send the allocation reply form to the school where your child has been offered a school place by 16 April 2008. You can also print the allocation reply form on this page.

If we have offered you a school place at a different school from any ranked on your application form, we would encourage you to contact the Headteacher and arrange a visit. The contact details for all junior and middle schools in Hertfordshire are listed in the Joining Junior or Middle School booklet we sent you in autumn 2007.

If you decide to turn down the offer of a place, you should inform your local Admissions and Transport team, whose address is at the top of your allocation letter, of the educational provision you will be making for your child. If you do not provide this information, your local Admissions and Transport team will begin attendance proceedings against you in September 2008.

If you do not respond to the offer letter, you will be sent a letter from the school, asking you to return the allocation reply form. If you do not respond to this letter the County Council will write, warning you that if you do not respond within 14 working days the offer of a place will be withdrawn.

You can download a copy of the allocation reply form on this page.
