1. Leave the A1(M) at Junction 4 (signposted Hatfield A1001).

2. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Comet Way (A1001), signposted Hatfield.

3. At the next roundabout, take the 4th exit (right) onto Hatfield Avenue.

4. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit (left) onto Mosquito Way.

5. At the next roundabout, continue straight on (2nd exit)

6. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit (right) onto Dragon Road.

7. Take the first right onto The Runway.

8. Take the first right into the Howe Dell school site.


From the A1(M) northbound

1. Leave the A1(M) at Junction 3 (signposted Hatfield A1001).

2. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit (straight on) onto Comet Way (A1001), signposted.

3. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit (left) onto St Albans Road West (A1057).

4. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit (right) onto Mosquito Way.

5. Continue straight ahead at the next 2 roundabouts.

6. At the third roundabout, take the 1st exit (left) onto Dragon Road.

7. Take the first right onto The Runway.

8. Take the first right into the Howe Dell school site.



From St Albans A414 (eastbound)

1. Take the A414 North Orbital road towards the A1(M).

2. At the ‘longabout’, continue straight ahead.

3. At the roundabout with the A1(M), take the 1st exit (left) onto Comet Way (A1001), signposted Hatfield.

4. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit (left) onto St Albans Road West (A1057).

5. At the next roundabout (at the traffic lights), take the 3rd exit (right) onto Mosquito Way.

6. Continue straight ahead at the next 2 roundabouts.

7. At the third roundabout, take the 1st exit (left) onto Dragon Road.

8. Take the first right onto The Runway.

9. Take the first right into the Howe Dell school site.


From Hertford

1. Take the A414 from Hertford until you reach the large roundabout with the A1(M) (by the Tesco superstore).

2. Take the 1st exit (left) onto Comet Way (A1001) signposted Hatfield.

3. Follow directions from the A1(M) northbound above (from point 3 onwards).


From Welwyn Garden City

1. Take the A6129 south towards the A1(M) until you reach the large roundabout with the A1(M).

2. Take the 2nd exit onto Comet Way (A1001) signposted Hatfield.

3. Follow the directions from the A1(M) northbound above (from point 3 onwards).


From the M25 westbound

1. Leave the M25 at junction 23 and join the northbound A1(M), signposted Hatfield & The North.

2. Then follow instructions for the A1(M) northbound above.
From the M25 eastbound

1. Leave the M25 at junction 21, signposted St Albans (A405).

2. Take the first exit (left) onto the A405.

3. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit (right) onto the A405, signposted St Albans.

4. At the next roundabout, continue straight on.

5. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit (rightish) onto the A414.

6. Then follow the directions from St Albans A414 (eastbound) above.


From the Quality Hotel, Hatfield (if you have been misdirected by a SatNav system)

1. From Lane End, drive towards Hazel Grove.

2. Turn right onto Hazel Grove.

3. Take the 2nd right onto Furzen Crescent.

4. Take the 2nd right onto Bishop’s Rise.

5. Turn right onto South Way (A1001).

6. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit (right) onto Roehyde Way (A1001).

7. At the roundabout with the A414 and A1(M), take the 2nd exit onto Comet Way (A1001) signposted Hatfield.

8. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit (left) onto St Albans Road West (A1057).

9. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit (right) onto Mosquito Way.
