Chorleywood TRG

Hello! We are the Chorleywood TRG - a lively, friendly group of boys and girls aged 11-15. We relaunched in September and are looking for new members.

Every month we all read and chat about the same book as well as reading lots of others. In the last few months we’ve read and recommend:

• The Forbidden Room by Sarah Wray
• Riding Tycho by Jan Mark
• The Edge by Alan Gibbons

To borrow these books, we each have a special TRG library card which means we can keep our books till the next session. We are also the first to borrow brand new books and take away book proofs before they’ve even been published!

As well as chatting about books, we’ve also enjoyed:

• Designing our own book covers
• Making bookmarks
  
• Writing to our favourite authors…and receiving handwritten replies from Jacqueline Wilson, Darren Shan and Anthony Horowitz!

We meet once a month on a Monday between 17.00 and 18.00pm at Chorleywood Library to talk about the books that we enjoy reading. If you would like to join us please contact Chorleywood Library on 01438 737333
