• Enquiries and Research
• Electronic Information: Suppliers include Datastar, Dialog, ESA-IRS and Blaise; Databases include Acompline, Social Scisearch, Textline, British Education Index, Caredata LGCNet - an on-line news service and Anbar Management Database.
• European Information: LoGIS is part of the European Public Information Centres service and carries a wide selection of books about the European union as well as the Eurolaw database.
• Books, Reports and articles can be requested for loan.
• Quick Reference collection: includes commonly used directories, encyclopedias and UK telephone directories.
• Newspapers and Periodicals: for reference - back issues are kept for varying lengths of time. A newscutting service is also offered as well as bulletins of items important to local government.
• Electoral Roll - all current Rolls held for Hertfordshire, edited version only
