Welwyn Garden City Library (directions to)

Directions to the Library by road and public transport.

How to find us:
Situated within the Campus West Leisure Centre on the Campus roundabout opposite John Lewis Department Store.

From A1(M) Southbound:
Exit A1(M) at Junction 6. Bear left at roundabout to WGC. At next roundabout turn right on A1000 (Bessemer Road). Take second right (Digswell Road). Go straight over roundabout at the top of the hill. Go straight over next two roundabouts. Library is on your right as you go over the white bridge but there is no right turn into the car park!

From A1(M) Northbound:
Exit A1(M) at Junction 4. Take A6129 (first exit) to WGC. At next roundabout turn right (past Stanborough Lakes). Turn left at next roundabout into Parkway. Go straight over next roundabout and follow Parkway until you come to the Campus roundabout. Library is opposite.

From Hertford (A414):
Turn right at roundabout (B195 – Birchall Lane) towards WGC. This becomes Cole Green Lane. Straight over next roundabout. Straight over next roundabout (Safeway entrance on left). Straight over double roundabouts and keep going until you come to the large Mundells roundabout. Get into right hand lane and go straight over next roundabout (Shire Park on left). At next roundabout turn left into Knightsfield. At top of hill turn left at roundabout into Digswell Road. Go straight over next two roundabouts. Library is on your right as you go over the white bridge but there is no right turn into the car park!

Parking:
We recommend using Campus East Car Park on College Way. The entrance is between the Police Station and Council offices on Campus roundabout. PLEASE NOTE, facilities behind the library are purely for library staff.

Public Transport:
Bus and train services arrive at Welwyn Garden City situated within The Howard Centre. It is a short walk from there past Jonn Lewis store and across Campus roundabout.
