Directions to the library by road and public transport.

How to find us:

From A10 North or South:
Leave A10 at Hoddesdon A1170 exit. Follow sliproad down to roundabout (Sun Public House is on your left). Take 3rd exit to right into Amwell Street. At top of hill with the clock tower to your left, continue straight on into the pedestrianised High Street. The library is just over halfway down pedestrianised part of High Street on the left.

From Harlow A414:
Take A414 to Amwell roundabout. Take 1st exit A1170 into Ware Road. Straight ahead at next four roundabouts. At end of Ware Road continue straight on over Fourways roundabout (Total petrol station is on your right) to next roundabout with the Sun Public House to your right. Continue straight on into Amwell Street (2nd exit). At top of hill with the clock tower to your left, continue straight on into the pedestrianised High Street. The library is just over halfway down pedestrianised part of High Street on the left.

From Ware:
Take A1170 to Amwell roundabout. Take 3rd exit A1170 into Ware Road. Straight ahead at next four roundabouts. At end of Ware Road continue straight on over Fourways roundabout (Total petrol station is on your right) to next roundabout with the Sun Public House to your right. Continue straight on into Amwell Street (2nd exit). At top of hill with the clock tower to your left, continue straight on into the pedestrianised High Street. The library is just over halfway down pedestrianised part of High Street on the left.

From Stanstead Abbotts:
Take B181 to Amwell roundabout. Take 2nd exit into Ware Road. Continue as above "From Ware".

From A1170 South (Wormley, Broxbourne etc):
Continue north on A1170 High Road through Broxbourne until road becomes High Street, Hoddesdon (just before Open Air Swimming Pool on the right). Straight across at next roundabout. Just past Total petrol station road forks. Take left fork into High Street. Continue straight on at junction by Barclays Bank past the Post Office on your right. Enter pedestrianised part of High Steet. Library is approx. halfway down on the right.

From the East eg Nazeing:
Follow Dobbs Weir Road westwards until it becomes Essex Road. Continue over level crossing and through industrial estate to big roundabout. Take 1st exit signposted Hoddesdon Town Centre. Go straight across next roundabout (2nd exit)where road then forks. Take right fork to town centre and continue along Conduit Lane with Netto food store on your left up to Pelican crossing. Turn right here into pedestrianised part of High Street. Library is approximately halfway down on the right.

Parking:
Tower Shopping Centre - Free, Burford Street - long and short stay pay and display, Taverners Way - short stay pay and display, Brocket Road - pay and display. There is also customer pay and display parking at Netto Foodstore in Conduit Lane and Sainsbury's car park off Charlton Way.

Public Transport:
Buses: 310, 311 (Arriva) Hertford to Enfield; 392 (Trustline) Rye Park to Harlow; C4 (Trustline) Harlow - Brookfield Centre; 324 (Golden Boy Coahces) Broxbourne - Hertford. Alight at Amwell Street, Clock Tower, proceed into pedestrianised part of High Street. Library is approximately halfway down on the left.
