Hitchin Library (directions to)

Directions to the library by road and public transport.

How to find us:
Paynes Park, Hitchin: from Stevenage driving - Stevenage Road to roundabut - take third exit (Parkway), at the next roundabout take the second exit and turn immediately right into Nuns Close, the library car park entrance is on the right. The library is a large white building on the roundabout at the top of the one-way system.

From Bedford - Bedford Road A505 - Paynes Park.
Paynes Park is part of a one-way system which circles the library.

Parking:
There is a small car park beside the library but staff have priority. There are 2 marked spaces for disabled users. The car park is entered from Nun's Close which is off Old Park Road on the one-way system. The library is signposted.

Public Transport:
Buses stop in Queens Street or Hermitage Road. Library is 15 minute walk from Railway station. Turn left into Walsworth Road; Turn right into Hermitage Road; Turn Left into Bancroft; Turn right into Brand Street and left intoPaynes Park.
