From A1M South (London):
Leave A1(M)at Junction 2 (Welham Green.
Straight ahead at roundabout.
Next roundabout take 4th exit to right - signposted New Barnfield.
First right into New Barnfield site.
Follow signs for Central Resources Library.

From A1M North :
Leave A1(M) at Junction 3 immediately after Hatfield Tunnel.
Follow A1001, straight ahead at the University traffic lights, towards Welham Green (Roehyde Way).
Left at next roundabout (South Way).
Next roundabout take 4th exit to right - signposted New Barnfield.
First right into New Barnfield site.
Follow signs for Central Resources Library.

From Hertford:
Leave A414 at Hatfield/Mill Green exit.
Bear left on A1000 towards Town Centre.
Turn left at traffic lights (red Lion public house on left).
Straight ahead at next roundabout (A1000 towards Potters Bar).
Take first right to Oxlease.
Left at the 2nd roundabout - Travellers Lane.
Continue down Travellers Lane to large roundabout.
Take third exit signposted New Barnfield.
First right into New Barnfield site.
Follow signs for Central Resources Library.

From Potters Bar :
A1000 follow signs towards A1(M).
Go over railway bridge(large Mitsubishi building on left).
Take first exit left at roundabout.
First right into New Barnfield site.
Follow signs for Central Resources Library.

From St Albans :
Along Hatfield Road towards Hatfield.
Third exit on "Comet" roundabout (Comet Way).
Second exit on large roundabout over A1(M) (next to University).
Follow A1001, straight ahead at the University traffic lights, along Roehyde Way, towards Welham Green.
Left at next roundabout (South Way).
Next roundabout take 4th exit to right - signposted New Barnfield.
First right into New Barnfield site.
Follow signs for Central Resources Library.

From A414 (Hemel Hempstead/Watford):
Along A414 (North Orbital Road) to A1(M) roundabout.
Third exit on large roundabout over A1(M) (Next to university).
Follow A1001, straight ahead at the University traffic lights, along Roehyde Way towards Welham Green.
Left at next roundabout (South Way).
Next roundabout take 4th exit to right - signposted New Barnfield.
First right into New Barnfield site.
Follow signs for Central Resources Library.

Car Parking is available adjacent to building.

By bus
Buses 405,406,610,611,650,312 and 340 run along Travellers Lane. Alight at Millwards, Travellers Lane bus stop and walk across the pedestrian footbridge and up the lane to New Barnfield.
Buses 602,603,797,634 run along Bishops Rise. Alight at Garden Avenue, Bishops Rise bus stop and walk towards South Way. Turn left onto South Way and walk towards the large roundabout with a pedestrian footbridge. Cross footbridge and walk up the lane to New Barnfield.

By rail
The most convenient station is Hatfield (on the Kings Cross – Stevenage line). The station is approximately 1½ miles from New Barnfield. Buses run from the station along Travellers Lane.
