Team Read ended on Friday 5 September 2008

Children who completed the challenge by reading six books and talking to library staff about them, will be awarded with a medal and certificate at a special presentation ceremony and will also be entered into a prize draw.

How can I help my child enjoy reading?

• Support your child by exploring the library together
• Encourage your child to try something new by reserving a book - it’s FREE!
• Make time to talk about what they’ve enjoyed reading - perhaps you could read it too!
• Remember, whatever age your child is, there are always times when it’s lovely to be read to
• Set a good example by letting your child see you read too!
