Membership
We are updating our membership records beginning with our longest-standing library members. This will enable us to update details and, as we are also preparing to upgrade the computer system, we need to replace the old membership cards with bar coded cards in good time. Users will be called automatically for re-registration. The process is very quick and we hope it will not inconvenience you; however you will find that in the brief period after your number comes up and before you are able to pop into a library to reregister that you are not able to access the on-line services. We will endeavour to ensure that you do not suffer any disadvantage because of this but if you have any difficulties please contact us using the contact button on the top left of this screen.
PINs
If you need a PIN or if your PIN is not working then please contact us using the 'Contact us' button in the menu at the top left of this page.
Renewals
Some members have been experiencing problems with on-line renewals. This does not appear to be a fault on the library on-line system but rather an issue with the set up of some PCs. We are working to pin down the cause to be able to offer advice. Meanwhile we recommend that you log in via the hertsdirect website in case your computer has stored details of your failed visits in its memory. Once you have accessed Zones, if the page does 'hang' then it is worth trying to refresh it by pressing Ctrl and F5 at the same time.
