Ask a question online

You can ask our librarians a range of questions.  If we cannot find an answer we can often find you useful web-sites or an organisation that will be able to take your query further.  You do not need to be a library member to ask a question or to use any of our libraries for study and research.

Please choose the type of question you wish to ask from the list below:

Enquire for general knowledge or factual questions
Choosing this option will take you to the national People’s Network on-line service where your questions are answered in real-time by library staff.  This service is available twenty four hours a day and seven days a week.  You may not always be connected to a Hertfordshire librarian.  Click on the link on the right to ask a Question of the People's Network Enquire service.

Ask a Hertfordshire Librarian Choosing the 'Hertfordshire current information'  option at the bottom of the screen will send an e-mail to the Central Resources Library for information on Hertfordshire business, Hertfordshire statistics or questions related to Hertfordshire Library service and our collections.

Click on the link to the right to find out more about the Central Resources Library and special collections.
