Join the library online

Anyone can join the library. It is free and enables you to use our full range of services. Please use the forms below to apply for membership online. Your membership card and Personal Identification Number (PIN) will be posted to you separately in the next few days.

Current Members
Please do not use these forms if you are already a member of Hertfordshire libraries.

• If your membership card has been lost or stolen, please take some proof of your name and address into any Hertfordshire library, where a replacement can be provided immediately.
• If you have moved, please contact any Hertfordshire library with details of your new address.

Concessions
It is free to borrow books. There are charges for some other library services, but concessions are available for certain users. Click on the link on the right for details.

Byelaws
By applying for membership, you are agreeing to observe the rules and byelaws of the library. Click on the link on the right to read the byelaws
