Bookstart+ Satchel - for toddlers aged 18-30 months

Listening, talking, loving and sharing!

The Bookstart+ satchel contains:

• Two story books

• A colouring pad and crayons

• A booklet with ideas for sharing books and rhymes with young children

• An invitation for your child to to join the library

How will my child receive their Bookstart+ satchel?
All children aged between 18-30 months are entitled to a free Bookstart+ satchel. The packs are being gifted through clinics and libraries.

When and how your child will receive their pack will depend on where you live in Hertfordshire :

• If your child is offered a two year developmental health check, your Health visitor will gift the Bookstart+ satchel as part of the check.

• If your child is aged 24-30 months and has not received a Bookstart+ satchel from your Health visitor, you can collect a pack from any Hertfordshire library.

• Please ask your Health Visitor or local library if you need the pack in another language

Please bring your child's health record book so that it can be signed to say you have received the Bookstart+ satchel.
