Bookstart Baby Bag - for babies aged 6-12 months

Babies love books!

Each Bookstart Baby Bag contains:

• Two baby board books

• A book of rhymes

• Leaflets about the benefits of sharing books with your baby

• An invitation for your child to join the library

How will my baby receive their Bookstart Bag?

• Your baby will be given a free Bookstart Baby Bag when they attend their local clinic for their 7-9 month developmental health check

• Your Health Visitor will gift the bag as part of this check and will explain how sharing books with your child will help their development

• If your child did not receive a Bookstart Baby Bag at their 7-9 month health check, and is still aged under one, then you can collect a bag from any Hertfordshire library.
  Please bring your child's health record book with you so that it can be signed to say you have received a Bookstart bag for your baby.
