Video memories - temporarily sold out

A video showing images of Hertfordshire during the past 100 years is available to buy from Hertfordshire Archives & Local Studies.

The video contains unique footage of everyday life in towns and villages including St Albans, Wheathampstead, Ashwell, Ayot St Lawrence and Cheshunt. It was compiled by Hertfordshire Archives & Local Studies in association with East Anglian Film Archive.



The film lasts for around an hour, and includes a professionally made film 'Queen of Herts' dating from the late 1940's. The video is proving very popular and has brought back memories to many, as well as being fascinating and educational for young people.
