Dury & Andrews Map of 1766

This map of Hertfordshire is one of the most accurate to appear in the eighteenth century. It is a main source for those seeking to research the landscape and buildings as they existed in 1766.

There are 9 sheets on a scale of one mile to 1.95 inches.

The map has been reproduced by Hertford record Society (2004) from an original copy held by Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies and costs £8.50.
