Hertfordshire School Records (historical)

The records consist mainly of school admission/attendance registers and log books which have survived for some schools. They relate primarily to schools which are now closed, such as National and British schools.

The records only apply to schools which have been run by the County Council, so do not include private and independent schools. They are catalogued under reference H/Ed and D/P
