Census vouchers for 1901 census online
Vouchers for downloading from the national 1901 census online are available from some Hertfordshire libraries and from Hertfordshire Archives & Local Studies.
The 1901 census is the first census of England and Wales to be fully availabe online at
www.census.pro.gov.uk. Browsing the indexes to the site is free, but access to images of census pages, transcripts and printouts must all be paid for.
The minimum charge is £5. You can use your credit card to pay on the site, or buy vouchers from libraries. £5 vouchers are available from Hertforshire Archives and Local Studies and from the following libraries (not all take credit card:
