Family history
In the Local Studies Library, visitors can see printed and published materials. These include books and pamphlets, newspapers and periodicals, parish registers on microfilm, directories, theses, maps, photographs, a range of CD-ROMS and access the internet.
Members of the Hertfordshire Family History Society visit the Local Studies Library on the first Tuesday of each month to give advice and help you start your family tree. Places are limited to 4 at a time so please book in advance. (10.30-11.30 or 2.00-3.00). Please telephone 01438 737333 and ask for the Local Studies Library.
