Artists Statement:
I was born in Bristol and grew up in Wales. I now live in Watford and currently work for an organisation called Turning Point Short Breaks for Carers. I support people with enduring mental health problems. I also have an interest and belief in the benefits of art therapy and use my own experiences - practical and personal to influence each canvas. I am an artist trained to degree level and have undertaken commissions for private buyers, public and commercial sector organisations. I am currently seeking a role, which will combine my creative activities with my commitment to working with people from different social, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. I paint and exhibit my work within my local area and have also featured in the local newspaper.
