Peter Brindley produces high quality colour and black and white photographs from medium and large format negatives, which have earned him a number of prizes in shows in Hertfordshire.

His main concern is to record for posterity his own perceptions of today's world and to present a portrait of many of today's values.

Awards:
Main prize for Best Overall Entry at Fifth Margaret Harvey Gallery (St Albans) Open Exhibition - 2002.

Exhibitions:
* Herts Foto Forum Group show, The Boxfield Gallery, Stevenage - June 2007;

* "What might have been an abstraction". Joint show with Sybil Brindley, installation artist, at Trestle Arts Base, St Albans - January to March 2007;

* Blickachse. Open air international group show at Worms, Germany - June 2006;

* Sixth Margaret Harvey Gallery (St Albans) Open Exhibition (2004) (2nd prize for best entry from St Albans & District);
* Sign of the Times - Diversity and Discord. Solo exhibition (by invitation) of new photographs from New York at the Margaret Harvey Gallery, St Albans - July-August 2003.

Qualifications:
Extra mural photography student at the University of Hertfordshire - 1997-date.

Member of:
* HVAF (Herts Visual Arts Forum);
* Herts Foto Forum.
