Artist's statement:
What drives me as a photographer is the ability to capture the beauty of light, form, texture, composition and shape, by simplyfying these elements they are enhanced and the eye is able to settle on the subject of interest allowing the image to be read more easily. More often than not the subjects that i photograph are not intrinsically beautiful, but by observing shapes and patterns I can create something more interesting. Therefore, it is not significant what subject I photograph, but what compels me to take the picture. With the importance on aesthetics there is no wrong response to the images; be it positive or negative the work responds to something within the viewer.

Commissions:
I am a freelance photographer and artist with over ten year's experience. I have undertaken a wide variety of projects throughout the world and in the UK and I have substantial experience in commissioned work having covered most areas in portraiture, commercial and events photography.

* Masters Degree in Art Practices.

Belinda teaches photohgraphy for ages 16+.
