Awarded title "Best Farmers Market in East Anglia" by National Farmers Union.
This market is held on the first Saturday of each month (but not January). It opens at 9.00am; it usually closes around 3.30pm, but it may be earlier if stalls sell out quickly. On average over 55 produces attend (seasonal variation).
It is in White Lion Square in Hatfield Town Centre, opposite Simmons the Bakers. The stalls have covers with two wide green bands and a centre wide white strip. The stalls have a Farmers market sign showing contract details and place of production.
This is a separate market from the general market which mostly has red and white covers
