Documentation Needed for proof of eligibility to work in the UK
From 1st May 2004 there were changes to the type and number of documents that are acceptable proof to work legally in the UK.
If you are a national of one of the following countries then you need to register with the UK Home Office within one month of starting work in the UK.
Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia.
To see which Identity documentation you will need to provide click on the relevant area below. Only in instances where you cannot provide documentation from the first two areas should you look at the other acceptable documentation section.
