Buddy Mentor scheme
The Buddy Mentor Scheme is run by disabled people, for disabled people. Volunteers offer one to one support in a variety of situations.
The scheme helps to enable disabled people throughout Hertfordshire, regardless of disability (including physical disability, sensory requirements, learning difficulties and mental ill-health) to overcome employment barriers and achieve personal goals.
You could benefit from the scheme if you are:
Looking for employment yourself or currently in employment and feel that you could potentially benefit from having a mentor.
An employer who wants information about 'reasonable adjustments' or how to improve the workplace of a disabled person who is working for you.
Wish to find out more about the service and how it can help in personnel relations, business and productivity.
Interested in volunteering as a mentor to others.
